9. Answer Any four of the following questions in 30-40 Words

a) How did Decious Brutus interpret Calpurnia's Dream?
- Indication of Good luck
- From the influence/ spirit of Caesar Rome shall revive/ get a new life.

- Ozymandias was obviously a very proud and arrogant man. 
- He was vain enough to imagine that he was the most powerful ruler on earth and he wanted every one to be terrified of him.
-  tells everyone that nothing can equal his works and glory

e) Irony in the act of throwing a log at the snake in the poem Snake.
- he admired the snake and considered it to be a fellow creature.
- he tries to exert his masculinity by attacking the snake.
- he then regrets his action as he would wish to have the snake around there as he admired it.
- it is his action that hasten the snake to disappear into the hole.
-as the mariner wished the albatross to be back so does the the poet.
10. Patol Babu as a practical man.

I agree with the statement that Patol Babu was a practical man. His life was full of struggle which enabled him to lose his jobs and his passion ‘acting’. He did whatever job was offered to him irrespective of his dignity in the past. 
-He  was an actor 
- but when he was offered a better paid job with Hudson and Kimberly  he came culcutta
-- in 1943 he wanted to start a club in the neighbourhood when he lost his job.
- - struggled to make his living
- opened a variety store, worked a insurance salesman etc.
- excited about the role offered in a film
- asks his wife to give him ginger juice to make is throat clear
- reaches the shooting site earlier than he was asked to
-he wanted to have rehearsal
- he suggested for a newspaper to make the scene more realistic
- he is upset when he is offered a very small role- however he accepts the role when  he recalled his mentors words.
- all these proves himself to be a very practical man.
