POSTERS
Posters are of two kinds:
1) Awareness posters
2) Event posters

Features:
Title: Should be displayed in bold and catchy letters at the top. It should communicate the subject and the purpose.
Simple and precise Language: Too much of text keep the readers off from reading, while crisp messages, put across in simple words, conveys the message effectively.
Better to use short phrases.
Creativity in terms of design and content: imagination and originality in terms of presentation of the facts and the message draw the readers and motivate them to read on.
Balanced layout: The text and the graphics should be properly spaced in a poster.
Appealing presentation: use simple illustrative graphics or sketches
Catchy slogan or a jingle: A simple verse in rhyme condenses the message.

REPORT WRITING



REPORT WRITING
Reports are factual descriptions of events or an incident. They are written in an easy to understand, simple and precise language . There are mainly three kinds of reports:
1) Newspaper report
2) Report for newsletters
3) Business report.

Features of Report
1. Interesting headings
2. by line.
In case of newspaper reports
            Report by staff correspondent or name
In case of report for news letters
            Report by (Name of the person)
3. Place and Date.
Eg: Delhi, Jan 20
4. Third person narration.
5. Use of passive form (what is more important not who is reporting but is what happened.)
6. Report only facts and in the order in which they happened They are usually developed on the following outline.
What, when, where, who, how
Highlights or other relevant informations.
